About BLUE AI

We're beta testing BLUE (beta) — an AI tool designed to quickly connect you to the University of Kentucky Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment's knowledge base, specifically from the UK Cooperative Extension Service. It helps homeowners, producers and business owners access the latest Kentucky-specific knowledge to help them meet their goals.

Unlike common search engines or tools like ChatGPT, BLUE (beta) is developed by the UK Center for Applied AI to be free from commercial influence and focuses only on Kentucky-relevant, Extension-approved content — eliminating the need to sift through generic or biased results.

Type a question, and BLUE (beta) will generate an answer based on Martin-Gatton CAFE sources. If more information is needed, you can provide your email for a county Extension agent to follow up with personalized assistance.

The beta test runs exclusively during the Kentucky State Fair. Your feedback will help us refine and improve the tool before launch — share your thoughts here.

Note: BLUE can make mistakes. Please verify responses with your County Agent.
